That is exactly what I am doing. I am suspicious you if I believe Millit, but I haven’t decided if I do or not. That’s why I feel like I should vote for one or the other of you. It’s not based on vote tallies, popular support, blah blah blah, just my overworked little birdbrain. (I’m a buff tabby. Of course I’ve got bird on the brain.)

I guess I’m just hoping to gain some trust. Plus, I have big RL issues this week. I’m kind of screwing up in this game, I can see. Maybe I shouldn’t have signed on for Mafia when I knew I had finals coming up (in a VERY accelerated program)? Almost every post I make I make while dead tired or when just waking up, like now. I’m nervous because I’ll be in a final when the Day ends (from 9-11AM), so unless you want to do it now and let me defend myself sometime in the middle of the night (as I’m headed out for hardcore studying right now), give me another Day. Sorry, guys. I’m a bad townie and I’m gonna get myself lynched.

I’m voting for NAF, of course, but please don’t get caught up in the “if one isn’t scum, the other must be” trap. Don’t vote for either of us based on the fact that we’re deadlocked against each other. We could be wrong about each other–I fully admit that I could have a bad read.

No no no, what I keep meaning to say and somehow keep failing to say correctly, is that is absolutely not my reasoning. It’s kind of coincidental that you’re at one another’s throats. If I believe you, then that makes NAF’s list of “I would be okay with killing…” suspicious as hell to me, and perhaps voteworthy. If I don’t believe you, well, then, I think you’re scummy, and perhaps voteworthy.
These are certainly mutually exclusive conditions, but not based on any one-or-the-other-must-be-scum-because-they-disagree sort of logic.

One more thing, thought of it while in the shower. Investigate me if you want…with so many power roles exposed, the whole “Boss returns a random role” thing isn’t much of a cover. (Yay!) So if anyone with investigatory power feels a burning need to help restore my credibility, it will be very easy. Then again, you might be happy investigating someone you think is scummier. Something about this post really rubs me the wrong way, and I’m not sure why. I’m not sure why a townie with one vote on him would feel the need to defend himself the way you’ve been doing–it seems like overreaction. Appeals to emotion, requests for investigation…it all smacks of trying too hard, I guess. There’s something else there but I can’t wrap my brain around it. Probably because I started this post an hour ago and since then have thrown up twice. Joy. Time to switch to the crackers-and-water diet.

I’ve done a quick reread of the previous Days posts, and I still can’t shake my suspicion of NAF. So vote NAF1138 again. (Which I would have done yesterDay, if only to save my own skin, but wasn’t online to do so.)
I will ask, one more time, if the people who are voting for me will please list who they would vote for if I was already dead.

HNC - Like I said earlier in the Day, I voted for dotchan mk1 because I thought it was the least bad choice. I thought that OneCentStamp had done nothing other than not being inflammatory, and that NAF1138 was very vocal town that would be best to keep around for a while, though a lynch would eventually be needed.
I’m not voting for you NAF, but I think your idea is interesting. However, I’m wondering if everyone listing suspicions is just going to make it easier for scum to choose who to try and recruit.
For what it’s worth, OneCentStamp is still on my list. There was a Night post of his where he said something like, “I’m just posting to show y’all I’m here” which pinged my scumdar something awful. And perhaps this is metagame-y, but . . . not only does it seem like a scum slip, it seems like a newbie scum slip.
Then again, it could be a newbie slip, period. But that combined with previous mentioned reasons still has him on my list.
I’m a bit on the fence about Millit, BlasterM, and Hawkeyeop, all of whom I mentioned in my previous posts.
