as I said. I know I’m town, and am convinced you are town. of the two of us, I think you bring more value to the rest of town in the long run. if I can’t save you, I can at least give you a 50/50 chance.
In the last game I was immediately pinged by Mahaloth who had just made two posts. He was lynched and flipped scum. I’m not sure how much was pure luck and how much was intuition. In this game I didn’t get that same ping, just weaker vibes.
Svejk echoed part (only part) of my argument when switching his vote from Scathach to Inner so it would be inconsistent for me to vote him for that. I may have opened a door to a scummy maneuver to save Scathach but, as I mentioned, I started to get Town pings from Scathach’s comments at the end of D2, whether she’s pulling the wool over my eyes or not, we’ll find out eventually, but that makes me suspect Svejk’s motives were honest.
I will not vote to save Svejk but forced to choose between them, Mahaloth. My gut says neither are scum and to lynch Gnarly.
Well, I appreciate you are trying to help, but I already had a 50/50 chance going in with someone else you are less certain is town than you are yourself - you’re not saving me, you are saving Mahaloth.
I have been a key candidate for a lynch from the get-go toDay, and it’s been difficult trying to change the subject. That said, I have made my feelings clear in post #780 and they often align with yours - people do some stuff that is really too weird to be likely scum, bringing me back to square 0. Also, I have made an extensive case against Ed, who I believe is scum. Yes, it involves defending myself, but that is really secondary to the case, it is only because his scummy actions have involved voting for me, and going out of his way to heap more smears upon me.
Now since you are the one to cast vote #3 against me, complaining that it is all so difficult and that this is ‘a toughie’, I’m going to call you out on this. How come you don’t evaluate my defence? I see that it might be good if I’d been able to do much scum hunting but as it is I’ve contributed several posts explaining my actions on D2 - if you are voting for me, you must think there is a considerable amount of BS in there. Secondly, you complain that I have not made any proper cases, when the case against Ed is so long not even you would call it minimal. How come you have not commented on the relative merits of that case, even to say something that, long as it might be, it’s just an OMGUS vote.
As it stands, your post is just a lot of fluff to say you really don’t know and that by process of eeny meeny minie moe… you are going to vote for me but that it has been really difficult. Also you are not going to comment on 1) my defence because there’s too much of it (
) and 2) on my case (which you contend I have not really made in the first place) against Ed. Because you are curious. Yeah right. :dubious:

Svejk’s point is so obvious when stated that it’s embarassing. I’m not convinced Mahaloth is town, so this is the better vote between him and myself, even if my original vote for him was tainted. Sorry, Mahaloth.
Well I’m happier to be taking my chances with **Mahaloth **than with you. I might even vote for him, but I don’t think I will since saving me in that way, if I pulled it off, will only create more doubts and suspicions. All this talking about me on D2 has done town the disservice of preventing it from scum hunting. I realize I have given town something to talk about and I apologize for that - switching those votes at that time was a fuck up. At any rate, even though I am town, I am not certain that my continued existence is actually a benefit to town, so I’ll just see what happens, let the chips fall where they may.
To be less ambiguous - that is supposed to read: I could vote for him, but won’t, not ‘I might even vote for him, but I don’t think I will’. I made up my mind while writing that admittedly short post but forgot to go back and edit for clarity.
@ Mahaloth, Choie and Special Ed have one vote each. Fubbles has two. You’ve made your preference clear, if you’re not going to vote Svejk, why not double up on Special Ed or push Fubbles into the lead? Or even vote Gnarly?
Similar question to Gnarly: Mahaloth and Special Ed were your primary suspects, you’ve made your suspicion of Hirka clear but now you’ve a chance to lynch Mahaloth or push Special Ed closer to the lead, why keep the one off?

I really really hate to do this because this is so late – I meant to get in here before work this morning – but I hate the tie and I did promise to shift my vote if a fubbles lynch seemed unlikely, which seems to be true. I’m also not really confident in my vote for him anymore, his behavior seems too out there anymore to be a scum play.

I’m not 100% confident in this vote but I just continue to be pinged by Svejk’s style of participation. To sum up what I’ve said previously, the timing has seemed calculated and it seems, from my perspective anyway, that he’s too willing to use vague words to discredit rather than taking a strongly stated position, which is something I find to be a scum attribute. Lastly, on a purely gut level, I’d rather be on the side with special ed, Hirka and choie than with MentalGuy, fubbles and septimus. I think the former group seems to lean more Town if I’m just going based on my feelings at the moment.
