Ok, I don’t know if I’m posting in the right place so if I’m not, then whisk me away to another board…aiight then.

I was reading my home island news (saipan) and this “County of Peace” is trying to get a sovereign state and they follow this dude by the name of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Are these guys a cult or are they legit. Does anyone know any facts about them? I’m kind of hesistant of having people like that invade my island.

Just wanted to know (since you dopers are soso smart) if anyone knows anything about this Maharishi Mahesh Yogi dude and what can people expect from this dude. Thanx

Yup. The same one. People seem to either love him or hate him.

I tend to agree more with the skeptics. Maybe not a cult, but I’d be wary of his claims.
