Make America Great Again, again

Or so promises the Trump campaign, Pence says.

But wouldn’t that mean it’s not great now? Surely Trump should shoulder some responsibility for that given that he’s been in charge for the last 4 years.

The mind boggles…

Eh, there’s always going to be empty rhetoric on the campaign trail. That Trump’s rhetoric is emptier than most is hardly surprising.

I thought his official campaign slogan had changed to “Keep America Great”. MAGA wouldn’t make sense.

Maybe, maybe not…

Biden campaign buys “Keep America Great” website.

Only Trump can save America from Trump’s America.

Pence creeps me out. I don’t know why.
Trump is a dangerous buffoon. Pence is Hitler-scary.
IMHO

He gives Trump the same worshipful gaze he used to reserve only for God.
He’s probably all “Who is this God person anyway?”

Oh, no, no-no-no… shouldering responsibility is for underlings who can be thrown under the bus.

Pence actually knows how to be a politician and a diplomat. That’s what makes him more scary than Trump in many ways. He’d be much more effective at implementing an agenda.

So true. First rule of Trump: take no responsibility for anything… unless the it’s the accomplishments that didn’t actually happen.

I saw Trevor Noah inferring that MAGA Again, would suggest that he didn’t accomplish his MAGA goal and therefor we should give him 4 more years to try again.
Personally, I read MAGA Again as “I made America great, let’s make it great again”. IOW, he considers the last 4 years great and wants 4 more great (by his definition of great) years.
