Which country?
I don’t believe him at all.
Well don’t come here. You sound like a right gobshite.
C’mon, please take him. We’ll toss in a 3 Musketeers bar.
No, he didn’t.
I guess we can add Subterraneanus to the list of celebrities that that threatened to leave the country over the presidential election.
Barbra Streisand threatened to leave the country if the elder Bush got re-elected in 1992.
In 2000, Eddie Vedder, Robert Altman, Kim Basinger, Alec Balwin, and Pierre Salinger vowed to flee from George W. Bush. Allegedly, so did Martin Sheen, Rosie O’Donnell, Matt Damon, Whoopi Goldberg, Ed Asner, Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon, but those statements couldn’t be confirmed. Salinger was one of a handful of people who actually did leave. Good riddance, Pierre; don’t let the door hit you on the way out.
I’m having trouble finding out which celebrities threatened to emigrate in 2004, but I seem to Remember Whoopi Goldberg doing this.
Apparently, Susan Sarandon has vowed to flee the country if McCain wins.
Sure he did. Just as I considered campaigning for Mitt Romney, having “**Bricker **ROX!!!” tattooed on my forehead, and forever renouncing sarcasm.
Oh, well, then. Yeah, totally.
Sure he did.
I know, you are a moron and don’t read for comprehension. That’s fine; it explains a good deal about you.
Regards,
Shodan
Will we ever get past the notion that a dollar is such a huge amount of money? I’m barely old enough to remember candy bars costing a dime. A dime could obviously buy a lot more then than now, of course, but even then we didn’t think it was something to cry over if that was the price of some candy.
And only 25 cents if it’s an extra-large 3 Musketeers and they’ve thrown in D’Artagnan.
The second line of text of Bricker’s Pit thread, which was at six pages (but wanted so, so much to be seven) when I pulled that line from it.
Not much of a stretch for him; he lived almost his entire post-RFK life in France anyway, and that’s where he returned after the election. More like he went back home, I’d say.
What is it with the whole “4th Musketeer” stuff? Are there 3 or 4? Lets get some clarity! If there are 3, fine. If there are actually 4, then call them the goddamn 4 Musketeers!
Oh, and don’t let the door hit you on the way out.
Wasn’t this a plot for a lifetime channel movie on last week?
I’m glad Alec Baldwin didn’t leave. He’s great on 30 ROCK.
Robert Altman left. Just took him a few years to pack, I guess.
Me either. He’s drama queening it up and telling more lies then the Santa Clause did to get in a lesbian bar.
Yes. That was a lie.
If we did, who would make movies? Remember all the Hollywood dorks who claimed they were going to leave the country if GWB got elected? They’re still here and still making major fools of themselves.
