I seen a couple of episode of making the band a couple of months ago, the one Puffy was doing. I haven’t seen anything about it since, did they make a group or what, I remember Puffy wasn’t to happy about the talent he was seeing. Could someone tell me what happend?
Haven’t seen the show, but I found this recap of the final episode.
The band members plus Alison are gathered around a table. Alison asks what they think of the group that was chosen, and Dye-lan responds that, “it flows.” In an interview, Puffy invites us into his head, which is a trip I would rather not take, to explain why he chose these people. Lloyd was chosen for his consistent talent and leadership abilities; he felt that Sara’s voice complemented Lloyd’s voice, and he also liked her drive; Fred was added for his Southern flavor and overall star quality; Dye-lan is the “curveball,” chosen for his reggae style and his passion; Babs was the underdog, picked for her flow and New York style; finally, Crapper was the wildcard, who just has something special that Puffy didn’t want to pass up. Puffy reminds us that the process has just begun, and the real work is still to come, so tune in next season to see the making of history. [“Shut up, Puffy.” — thestatic]
So I guess they did form the group.

I thought the show got cancelled. It seemed like the whole thing was a bust from the get go. A second season would probably be a mistake.
