You think I look ransom in my socks? Thank you that’s quite a compliment.
Careful – Chris Handsome of Dateline NBC may be thinking you’re a predator he’s about to catch.
Hey, I wouldn’t mind being caught by the lovely Famke Hansen.
OOG: Two of my superiors at work are “Chris Hansen” and “Tim Taylor”. Honest to Og!
Yes, the Janssen Interceptor was a lovely car in its day, but that’s going back about forty years!
Try over three hundred years since Abel Jensen Tasman was alive. He traveled a lot by ship, but automobiles were still a few centuries away.
I remember when the Doctor fought the Janszoon on the moon.
I remember fighting Judoon in Mortal Kombat and its sequel. The story apparently goes that Shao Khan punished him for losing the first game to the people of Earth by making him directly compete in the second tournament.
Really? I think you’re a little confused then - shang tsung is a kind of silk, though they also make wallpaper in that kind of pattern.
That’s a "fabric"ation – a shantung is a song, such as “Blow the Man Down” or “What Do You Do With a Drunken Sailor”, sung by mariners on long voyages.
Sing for your supper and we’ll feed you, but you’ll have to chantey up - maybe to the tune of five figures - if you want to join our poker game.
I didn’t realize that poker is popular in Chile, though I suppose they might play it in the Ante Mountain.
He probably entered some tournaments in South America, but Andes Järryd was a tennis player from Sweden.
He also did stand-up under the stage name Anders Dice Clay.
Was he ever in Little Shop of Horrors? There’s a flesh-eating plant in that, although it’s not an andrew or any other Drosera as far as I know.
A Drosera? I’m sure man eating plants showed up all the time on shows that were made by the Sundew animation studio. Cartoons like Transformers and Inhumanoids had crazy monsters in them all the time.
Did any of those monsters include leprechauns hiding pots o’ gold at the ends of Sunbows?
Leprechauns are Irish, but Rainbows are French, such as the poet Arthur Rainbow of Une Saison en Enfer (or, in English, A Season in Hell) fame.
Surely John Rimbeau is an all-American action hero - First Blood and all that?
I don’t think Disney’s movie about Rambo the flying elephant was ever considered an action flick.
Dumbo may “fly out of the kitchen”, but I don’t think it’s ever made with elephant – chicken or shrimp is a more likely protein source for that okra-based dish.
