Malcolm in the Middle from Feb 19 2006 - What did Lois say?

I don’t want to give away any spoilers, so I’ll keep this vague.

I just watched last night’s episode of Malcolm in the Middle, and at one point, when Lois is hugging Hal, she looks at Malcolm, who is sitting behind Hal, and mouths something that looks vaguely like “You are sitting,” or at least “You are <something>.” Malcolm looks frightened. This was after he had done something wrong, and Lois was quite upset with him, so clearly she was saying something threatening … but I can’t figure out what she said. And the closed captions don’t say. Anybody understand it?

“You are dead meat.”

Thanks Diogenes. Looking at it again (and again and again and again), I see that’s clearly what she’s saying. Though I still would never have been able to figure that out without help. Now I can quit obsessing and get back to my assembly language homework.

Glad I could help. It’s always nice to see a “Hey I know this one” question that hasn’t been answered yet. Especially when it’s about something as profound and intellectual as “Malcolm in the Middle.”
