Not sure if that is the incident I am remembering(this guy was only beaten and the year 2009 seems wrong), if you want quality journalism its not there as its all hidden identities and anonymous sources.

I think Alley Dweller was spot on (whoa, was that a pun?) in the association of weakness=fag! such that it carried over (in general) to emasculation=fag! I’m not saying anything about “real men” and what they do or don’t do, but the concept is out there. If you’re a male who’s buying feminine hygiene products (with certain exceptions), you can expect somewhere close to a majority of other guys in the store are making that ~swwwichhhhKKKK~ whipping sound.
I know most of the sensitive new age guyshere on the Dope would be honoured and proud to go shopping for their wives and girlfriends, but we Dopers are in the minority.
