I am not sure that is what is going on here. The woman who married the Eiffel Tower can hardly have been doing it just for the sex, and perhaps the Florida computer guy (if he is serious and not just trolling) isn’t doing it just for the sex either. Sex (with people, anyway) does often lead to deeper feelings of attachment. Most of us do not form those sorts of attachments to inanimate objects, but it appears that a few people do.
As for gay relationships, although I do not doubt that many or most of them are about much more than sexual desire, as, indeed are many or most heterosexual relationships, but it is the involvement of sexual desire that makes them gay (or hetero, come to that) as opposed to being just strong friendships. That being so, I do not know that it necessarily follows, just because people often focus on the sexual desire aspect when discussing “gayness”, that they are “reducing” gay relationships to that, or that they think that actual gay relationships are any more “all about sex” than straight ones are.
Well, the may think he is, but if so he’s using a gag dating at least all the way back to the 1990s.
As mentioned, he seems to be a recidivist frivolous-lawsuit wackjob with a particular focus on Apple Computers and sex. (When Apple eventually comes up with the iSexbot or the MacLovedoll [Air/Pro] you know he’s going to be complaining anyway.)
