Man wants to marry his porn-filled computer, draws parallel to gay marriage

A Florida man addicted to porn has filed suit to marry his computer, claiming that it’s really no different to legalizing gay marriage.

The smacky-head emoticon doesn’t even come close to expressing any right-thinking person’s opinion of this yahoo.

Well at least he is merely insane and stupid and not a bigot.

As always, these three words explain everything.

Following his own logic, he should be arrested for statutory rape as he clearly admits the Apple was a recent purchase.

HA!

(Come to think of it, that’s pretty much spot-on.)

Not only that, but this is not his first rodeo.

my sweetie is so hot that i had to install another ventilation fan.

It constantly amuses (saddens/disgusts/insert term here) me when people reduce gay relationships to ‘sexual desire’.

Well, frankly it makes more sense to me than the woman who married the Eiffel Tower. (Admittedly, that is still not very much sense.)

Exactly. And what does that say about such people’s own romantic relationships? Not very healthy, I’m thinking.

golf clap

I am not sure that is what is going on here. The woman who married the Eiffel Tower can hardly have been doing it just for the sex, and perhaps the Florida computer guy (if he is serious and not just trolling) isn’t doing it just for the sex either. Sex (with people, anyway) does often lead to deeper feelings of attachment. Most of us do not form those sorts of attachments to inanimate objects, but it appears that a few people do.

As for gay relationships, although I do not doubt that many or most of them are about much more than sexual desire, as, indeed are many or most heterosexual relationships, but it is the involvement of sexual desire that makes them gay (or hetero, come to that) as opposed to being just strong friendships. That being so, I do not know that it necessarily follows, just because people often focus on the sexual desire aspect when discussing “gayness”, that they are “reducing” gay relationships to that, or that they think that actual gay relationships are any more “all about sex” than straight ones are.

It seems to me he thinks he’s making a clever point about same-sex marriage.

Wait, is the computer filled with videos of one single girl or videos of several? Because as far as I know, polygamy’s still illegal.

I shudder to think how much jisim that computer case has on it.

I’m glad now that its been awhile since I moonlighted servicing & upgrading pc’s. Some computers you just don’t want to handle.

It’s in the quote. He specifically said ‘object of sexual desire’.

Well, the may think he is, but if so he’s using a gag dating at least all the way back to the 1990s.
As mentioned, he seems to be a recidivist frivolous-lawsuit wackjob with a particular focus on Apple Computers and sex. (When Apple eventually comes up with the iSexbot or the MacLovedoll [Air/Pro] you know he’s going to be complaining anyway.)

The computer does not have the mental capacity to marry.

If computers develop sufficient mental capacity, the issue might become real.

If they develop sufficient mental capacity, they may not want us. :frowning:
