Manifest (new NBC paranormal series)

The following link contains spoilers, so read at your own risk if you haven’t watched the last episode. TL : DR - The series has not officially been renewed for a second season, and was originally planned for 13 episodes, not 16, which may explain the slapped-together feel of the last few programs.

Did anyone else snort when Grace said, “Wait, you have an expiration date?” I know that was supposed to be a tense moment, but I laughed.

I’ll keep watching, but this is almost one of those It’s So Bad It’s Good shows.

Wait, this was the finale? IN FEBRUARY??

The passengers expiration date should open up some interesting stories for season 2.

Although it will get pretty depressing if the show goes into season 4. The date will loom larger and larger as it approaches.

I haven’t watched since the hiatus. It’s time to start up my NBC App and catch up.

I decided to wait and read recaps first. Then decide if it’s worth spending six hours viewing the new episodes.

I think that in Episode 11 “Contrails” the airplane was not eliminated but went into the storm a second time. Perhaps in a future season the pilot Daly and Professor Clarke will come back with more info? But then, if no one recalls any memory of the first time travel…

I missed episode 11. I’ll look for it in reruns.

For a while, Syfy was re-airing episodes a week or two after they debuted, but quickly stopped, quite likely because the ratings didn’t justify it.

and the baby weighs 8.28lb? least then you’d know who tha babby daddy was if 828 figured in there somehow… :stuck_out_tongue:

I had a question there. Has the Air National Guard ever actually shot down a civilian aircraft in US airspace?

This says no, but they have gotten close:

But even so, they followed him for *five hours. *

I still think (I havent watched too many of the episodes but they are recorded) that the final episode with be just as bad the disappointment of “Lost”

In the meantime, a second season will air, but it will not debut until early 2020.

I’m sure looking forward to find out what happens next.

January 6, 2020 to be exact.

It’s going farther and farther off the rails with each episode. Anyway, there was a wedding on the show

Zeke and Michaela

and they play a song that includes the line “light years from heaven.” They didn’t use the original artist, but I do remember the song; it was a big hit in the late 1980s or early 1990s, and when I use Google, all I get is this Stevie Wonder song, which is pretty good in itself, but that’s definitely not it.

Can anyone help me with this?

You know, if someone told me I was gonna die on June 2, 2024, that wouldnt be a disaster as big as they show. I’d know to buy a million $ Life policy a couple months in advance, make sure my will is up to date, etc.
Sure, because I am healthy I expect to live for another 20 years, but knowing when- and that being five years off, it’s not horrible.

For the kids, it’s a bigger deal.

Absolutely.

Neither turned out to be the case.

I don’t ever remember being involved in the treatment of the extremely rare pregnancy complication that led to Eden’s premature birth, but truthfully, even a OB who has never seen it before would NEVER leave a woman to die, because “I can’t operate.” Doesn’t work that way; you do the best you can and mop up later.

Besides, if she was hemorrhaging, blood would have been pouring over the sides of the bed, and I for one didn’t see any.

Remember those Psychic Network ads? I was in college in the early 1990s when those scams were really big, and one of my roommates swore that she saw one that said, “Find out the day you will die.” I never did, but I wouldn’t doubt it.

FOUND IT!

“Truly, Madly, Deeply” by Savage Garden.

The program will come back for Season 3 after the new year. Wonder how far it will go off the rails LOL.

FYI: It’s coming back on April 1st. This is not an April Fool’s joke.

The new season debuted a couple hours ago, and I did watch it.

No spoilers needed: It made as much sense as can be expected.
