Many female superhero's basically wear stripper outfits. Who are the most scantily clad male heroes?

Now I, like Spider-man, have been called “nobody” :stuck_out_tongue:

Kull the Conqueror wore very little clothing. (But at least his nipples are covered up.)

Gosh but Hawkgirl would be popular if she wore his outfit.

It’s part of his cape, typically.

There was a female Thangarian (not Hawkgirl) who wore exactly that.

Odd how high heels are preferred fignting footwear for all humanoid females regardless of species.

Unless, of course, stiletto heels are actually part of their anatomy, like Grendel’s mom in the recent movie, or Kerrigan in Starcraft.

That may be the greatest cover in the history of comics. The Gimp from “Pulp Fiction” read that as a teen-ager. Gay porn actors read it to get into character.

Just seen this on io9, and it seemed very relevant. Victoria’s Secret superhero show (SFW)

I’ve never seen anything to suggest that The Tick is wearing a costume. I think that’s realy his body, just like the T-1000 in Terminator 2 had his uniform as an integral part of his body.

For that matter, I’ve never seen Arthur out of his costume, either. But he does explicitly say that he found it.

Didn’t Sean Connery play that guy? Zardoz.

I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to mention my childhood hero, Apache Chief – shown here in his loincloth-and-open-vest glory alongside the bare-legged Black Vulcan, the bare-legged and bare-armed Samurai, and the regrettable El Dorado.

Vartox is, in fact, visually based on Zardoz. (Purely visually. His actual character is nothing like Zardoz.)

Interesting that the writer gives the same outfit both an A and a D+…

There’s Girl One in Top 10, who was a closet nudist, in the sense that she let people think she was wearing a skin-tight bodysuit when in fact, skin.

Villain rather than hero, but consider the Mandarin: boots, cape, helmet, and – loincloth.

I saw the picture and assumed that it was responsible for the creation of the Comics Code Authority.

I have the issue wherein Tick discovers “I have pockets!”

I also have an issue wherein Arthur wonders if the Tick is wearing a uniform or running around naked.

In an episode of the cartoon, Arthur’s costume pants get stolen. In an episode of the short lived live action show, an evil psychiatrist steals the moth costume completely.

Swamp Thing is naked, but I guess if he grows an embarrassing tuber, he can just yank it off.

Captain America of course wears star-spangled red-white-and-blue from head to toe; his Native American counterpart, Red Wolf, not so much.
