Not so many years ago, I mislaid it. It was a battered,dog-eared paperback (I’m a cheap bastard), stained with greasy finger prints, spilled beer, and reefer ash called ‘The Straight Dope’. As it contained all of the world’s knowlege worth knowing (and some that wasn’t), it’s loss was devestating. But last night whilst visiting around with some Skeptics, I stumbbled across this site and to my amazment, Cecil LIVES!!
Been kinda going over the various posts. Looks like y’all have a lot of blood pressure spikes. Also saw some creative, even admirable vituperation. And some great humor as well as good insites. And, of course, I saw the other side of the coin. I think I’ll be right at home here.

I was named Filthy Phil by a motorcycle club I was a Charter Member of back in the '60s. I had to drop out some time later (Viet Nam and so forth), but the name has stuck with me for lo, these many years.
BTW, is a ‘goat felcher’ what I think it is? If so, I must protest! I have never felched a goddamned goat. Which is not to say I wouldn’t, if it is really good. Please advise.

I still ride, but due to some physical problems, I can’t do as much as I’d like these days. My bike is a '46 U model HD and it wins the Rat Class in every show I enter. I’m planning to go to an event Clarkeville VA tomorrow. There’s no Rat Class, so I’ll enter the foul, old crock in Modified just to piss the yuppies off. It hasn’t been washed in over 20 years, looks it, and I’m proud of it. I’m from Oxford, NC.

Would prefer not to be shifted. I can get as rank and abusive as I need to (although I’d rather not). My skin is thick, and my venom is as strong as the Rattlesnakes I keep like other’s keep tropical fish.
He’s fuckin lying to ya man! Wally is a nice guy and all, and I like him just fine, but we’ve seen pics of his ride already, and stories of how well it runs (for a block or two).
