Is her name Marilyn Munster? They clearly state she is Lily’s sister. So her name shouldn’t be Munster as that is Herman’s last name.
Do we just assume it’s Munster or is it ever stated that her name is Munster?
This site indicates that Marilyn is Lily’s niece.
The site also indicates that Marilyn’s last name is, indeed, Munster. Perhaps Herman and Lily adopted her.

Thus, Grandpa, Lily’s father, in Grandpa Munster even tho there’s a strong indication (if it’s not ourrightly stated) that his last name is Dracula (I’m assuming one of many Dracs, not THE Drac, even as we know Herman isn’t the only creature of Dr Frankenstein).
What I can’t figure is how a Frankenstein monster & a vampire have a werewolf child.
I was under the impression that Grandpa Munster had built Herman.
If this is so, they can all legitimately carry the Munster name.
In Munster, Go Home!, Herman inherits the estate of his creator. Since Grandpa is in that film, some other mad scientist built Herman.
I always suspected that Marilyn Munster was a serial killer. You know, the other members of her family looked weird but were essentially harmless and she was the opposite. The real reason Marilyn never had a steady boyfriend was because she would quietly kill them and dispose of the bodies in the cemetery back of the Munster house.
I mean, take a good look at Pat Priest in a bikini in that Elvis Presley movie she made. It would take more than Uncle Herman`s goofy laughter to keep the boys away.
Marylin always referred to Lily and Herman as Aunt Lily and Uncle Herman.
Also Lily stated in the series her name was Dracula. Herman WAS made by a German Scientist. Herman was MADE not born.
