Got it yesterday. It is HD at 60 fps with 5.1 surround sound. Finally, Nintendo got it right.

Loving it. Definitely the nicest looking game Nintendo has ever produced.
Boy those 150cc courses are tough though. I’ve yet to ace one. Some, I haven’t even finished top 3 yet!
Battle mode was widely panned on the review sites, but I gotta admit, it isn’t as bad as I expected. I miss the battle arenas from Mario Kart 64 and I reaaalllly hope Nintendo offers custom arenas as a DLC.
I have been battling online more than racing. This game is great.
I got Mirror mode unlocked, and started playing around with the time challenge mode.
Haven’t played battle mode yet.
