I think in this case “officer discretion” is a codeword for “Hostess Donettes.”
That should be “Ho-Stess”.
Win!
But they won’t let me pay for weed with “baked” chips.
Some justice in this world, eh?
Probably gave the cop a case of Cheetos, too.
The prostitute wasn’t punished more harshly; the man wasn’t punished at all.
Woman sells sex: arrested.
Man buys sex: walks away.
You don’t see anything off about that picture?
Sounds pretty cheesy to me.
I am suprised the old frigid ball and chain let the guy out of the house with that much walking around payolla…
While I do think the guy not being punished in any way is unfair, I do want to point out one thing.
In other words, she is a repeat offender. That should warrant a harsher punishment. The guy could have been a first-timer and was punished off-the-record or given a deal for helping to get the woman to confess. I know that scenario is probably less likely than Shot From Guns’s, but I can hope.
I hope the guy chipped in for her bail.
At least the Cheetos weren’t used as weapon…

One of my golf buddies drives a route for Frito-Lay.
I’ll be seeing him tomorrow morning.
You’d better believe I’ve printed off a copy of that article.
Thanks!
Serious question:
No money exchanged hands. This was a pure bartering situation. If we ignore the ridiculousness of the instrument of the barter, what we’re left with is that one person offering someone something in exchange for sex is against the law.
But isn’t that what all of us do, all the time? When is sex not negotiated for? Is a girl who says in a bar “buy me a drink and I’ll come home with you tonight” a prostitute?
I mean, hell, is this any weirder than “honey, I’m too tired to wash the dishes. If you do it I’ll give you a blow job”?
That was my thought as well. Drug dealer gets it a lot more heavily that the buyer when caught.
But I didn’t like that the prostitute’s name & face were released in the news article & the man’s wasn’t. That extends beyond the punishment of the crime, IMO, unless it’s agreed that she’s beyond humiliation. And that’s a hell of a thing to decide about someone.
Having sex for cheetos might be a hint
The fact that the police are even concerned about this when there are real crimes being committed is fucking ridiculous.
