Jeesh. Look on the Wikipedia page. There’s worldwide Mars, a US Mars, and a Canadian Mars.

Worldwide:

Canada

Since mid-2006, all Mars bars produced in Canada are peanut-free. Mars is one of the few candy bars in North America for which no size of the product has any trace of peanuts. US

The worldwide Mars bar differs from that sold in the U.S. The American version was discontinued in 2002 and was replaced with the slightly different Snickers Almond. I can’t see frying making them anymore unhealthy then candy ice cream bars.

See, they’re not saying they produce healthy food. What they are really saying is, “If you eat our products, you better have a healthy active lifestyle, or this stuff will kill you in short order.” Their food is an, er, incentive to healthy living.

The health claims are likely based on the health benefits of chocolate (which apparently even includes lower BMI); of course, this doesn’t mean you can stuff yourself with candy.
