I might be leaving town for a few weeks. I had thought I’d leave my vehicle parked at a MARTA (train) station, probably either Doraville or Indian Creek.
In your opinion, how safe do you thing that would be?

What kind of car was it? License #?
Thanks
I don’t think I’ve ever been to the Indian Creek station, so I can’t comment on it. The lots and decks at Doraville fill up regularly (as in, the last three times I’ve tried to park there I’ve had to drive in to Chamblee Station instead). And it’s $6/day for long-term parking at Doraville, which isn’t much less than the Park-n-Ride lots($9/day) or Economy lots ($8/day) at the airport. (I assume that the motivation for parking at a MARTA station is that you’ll be flying out of Hartsfield).
For trips longer than one night, if I have to park at a MARTA station, I usually pick Brookhaven. As long as you’re in the secured long-term section, it should be as safe as it gets, and it’s only $3/day instead of $6/day at Doraville. The back (unsecured) lot at Brookhaven (the side facing Apple Valley Way and Dresden Drive) can be pretty scary, though I have parked there for several days when I’ve been in a hurry and unable to get a space in the secured lot. And it’s probably still preferable to the remoter spots at Chamblee or Doraville.
