Kind of surprised that there doesn’t seem to be a thread on this film.

Anyway, when I heard that it was being made, I was convinced that seeing it would be a waste of time. When it was finished, the trailers had me thinking that it might be worth a shot, maybe to catch when it hit Netflix. And then the reviews started talking about how good it was, so I forked over the cash to see it in the theater.

I have to say I was very, very surprised how good it is. Very respectful of the original, and a true sequel. The music was wonderful. The visuals are a ton of fun. If you liked the original Mary Poppins, you won’t be disappointed in Mary Poppins Returns.
