MASH Trivia

All I can think of is “The Wind just broke his leg.” That’s not correct, is it?

Does this have something to do with Margaret’s bra?

T7: “What is that atrocious odor?”
Yellow.

And her name was?

Mispronounced by Flagg as…?

A game of bridge with Hawkeye, Potter and the mayor and chief of police of Oujambou (or however it’s spelled)

Honoria. Rhymes with Gonhorrea.

T4: Sidney (or on one occasion, Milton)

T9: RCA Victor (according to BJ) or BJ (according to Hawkeye)

T10: “My bear went off!”

T5: Radar asks ‘Jesus’ to bless his teddy bear; he blesses radar himself.

F1: On a related note, Frank tests Jesus by praying for what?

F2: What future sitcom star held Frank at gunpoint in the shower?

F3: Hawkeye won’t carry a gun, but what will he carry?

F4: Why does the spelling of Dr. Freedman’s name confuse Col. Flagg?

Here are hints on the unanswered ones from the OP:

When did Frank’s ancestors come to America?

No hints here.

What did Hawkeye call “Some real toe-tappers”?

Ah, Bach.

“I’m a marine. We’re the best.”

The actor who spoke this an actor, a narrator, and a director. I’m looking for Hawkeye’s response.

F1: On a related note, Frank tests Jesus by praying for what?

Pudding. Chocolate?

F2: What future sitcom star held Frank at gunpoint in the shower?

 Wow, good one.

F3: Hawkeye won’t carry a gun, but what will he carry?

A grudge, your books, a tune, you back to Old Virginny. He’ll even hari cari if you show him how.

F4: Why does the spelling of Dr. Freedman’s name confuse Col. Flagg?
[/QUOTE]

Two E’s, like in freedom.

F2: What future sitcom star held Frank at gunpoint in the shower?

John Ritter

John Ritter played an upset soldier holding Frank (played by Larry Linville, of course) hostage. Sadly, both actors are now dead.

I’d’ve beat you if I hadn’t gone to the trouble of typing out my longer post!!! Yea, that’s the ticket …

Still looking for Tuttle’s replacement. I head he was also an imaginary relative of a Vietnam vet.

Ah, John Ritter. Ah, Bach.

What TV detective did BJ fall for?

What movie star gave his blanket to a gook?

What TV cop boasted “oak”?

What surgeon wanted to give Margaret a little love? American style?

What colonel said a hospital is a big building with patients?

Extra super bonus question:

What movie star wanted a hamburger? (I nearly crapped myself when I found this out.)

Murdoch?

I dunno, but if he was in Airplane!, that’s not important right now.

Close enough. I don’t know how it was supposed to be spelled.

1928? (I remember it was in the 1920s.)

Shirley you can’t be serious.

You answered a question from a post in which all of the MASH extras went on to bigger and better things.

Shelley Long and George Wendt both went on to star in Cheers. Two MASH extras had starred together in a previous TV show. Who were they and what was the show? (Hint: Neither one was the show’s main star.)

I thought it was 1927, but you may be right.

Since that episode probably took place in 1951, and since Frank looked to be at least 35, then he would have been at least 11 when he came to America. :dubious:
