Massive voter fraud in the US - where's the investigation?

It looks as if Trump may have been lurking SD:

I find it curious that no one stepped forward to explain how states ensure someone is a citizen when they register to vote. You would think if the process were known, that would assuage fears of voter fraud. Since Democrats are far more likely to commit crimes in general , they would be far more likely to commit voter fraud.

Also Obama spent billions on refugees and dreamers but made no effort to get American citizens IDs so they can vote.

This is what I mean when I say Trump supporters are fine with innuendo. There is no evidence of voter fraud being an issue, but it is the responsibility of Democrats to prove this negative. The absence of people being arrested for voter fraud shows just how cunning these people are. We are also responsible for proving that there is not a n invisible unicorn running loose in Central Park.

“I have questions, and I will continue to have questions until somebody tells me what I already believe!”

Personally, I go clerical error, but as he was not concerned enough to follow it up enough to even find out if his provisional ballot counted, so I don’t know if there is any more information to be had there.

I had to vote provisionally once, in the 2004 election. I had moved relatively recently, and my new address had 5 digits. No one ever believed me on this, so would always truncate the last digit. This included the board of elections.

They let me vote provisionally, but when I asked the board of elections later, they said it wan’t counted, as it wasn’t registered to a valid address (which was their fault.) Ohio was the swing state in 2004, so I felt particularly disenfranchised.

I do know that in Ohio they keep track of ballots as they are registered to your name, and they can pull ballots out that are fraudulent, so, assuming that it was fraud and not error, they probably did remove the fraudulent votes, and add St. Cads.

So, I would hazard to guess that his vote was counted, the fraudulent one wasn’t, but as it was not important enough for him to call his board of elections and find out, we will never know.

You might want to think about the data about a bit more deeply before coming to your flawed conclusion.

P.s. - I’m not a Democrat, by the way.

It’s going to be really awesome when it turns out voter fraud actually got Trump elected.

You are welcome, everyone!

I think its interesting that his focus on ‘fraud’ is the registration(s) - including a scenario that Pence is currently breaking (registered in two states).

While the registration rolls need to be cleaned up - being registered to vote (and you shouldnt be) is not the same as actually voting (when you shouldnt).

One is clerical - the other is an issue.

Bingo.

It’s about suppression not fraud, and Trump knows that to shout often and loud is to control the narrative. So it’s about fraud.

No, it really isn’t. You’re just being mugged again.

I can only tell you why I explained about the safeguards on voting where I live, but not those on registration: it’s been only eleven weeks since the last time I voted, but it’s been 18 years since I last registered to vote, as voting regularly while living at the same address has kept my voter registration current.

Pretty much all of this is in desperate need of cites.

Somewhere between that and ‘millions’ for sure.

And, it sounds like, if the police weren’t interested, that there’s room for some police reform to put the cops in better touch with and in alliance with the citizenry. Hopefully the librul (because of course it must have been one . . . and probably an illegal Mexican) who stole your vote voted for a candidate who is in support of law enforcement reform.

But, frankly, no, one instance of ‘proof’ that one vote happened when it shouldn’t isn’t in any way cause for alarm or action.

Nice try. But Democrats like the governor of Virginia keep wanting to restore voting rights to felons because they know they vote Democrat.

Jake Tapper of CNN was making the same assertions:

Jake Tapper Calls Out Donald Trump's Lie That Millions Voted Illegally | HuffPost Latest News?
And – be careful what you ask for – Trump is following up bigtime

Democrats wish to restore voting rights because they believe that people should have the right to vote.

People who get their vote restored probably will not vote for the republicans who did not wish to let them have that right.

Hey, you wanna get those felons to vote for your party, don’t treat them like shit.

Do you think voter ID is a state issue or a federal issue?

Like I said in the earlier post, I followed up but no one would tell me if it counted. I tried to show my ID to show I was the real “Saint Cad” but the poll worker refused to look at it.

Not a clerical error, the person has signed “Saint Cad” next to my name and my name was not duplicated anywhere. I’m pretty sure it was not a targeting. The person at the poll had the book open of all the voters and you could look it over pretty easily. That how I know someone signed my name. I could have picked any name on that list as long as there was no signature next to it and they would have let me vote under that name.
Look I understand this board enough to know that if I were a Democrat most of you would take my situation as a cause celebre and use my story as proof that Trump is illegitimate and Diebold should get out of the voting-booth business and how minority voting is systematically repressed. But since I’m a Republican the response is “Fuck it. It was only one vote so it’s not really fraud. I choose to ignore it since it contradicts my belief that it never happens.”

What, exactly did they say, when you called your county board of elections?

They actually said they couldn’t tell you or wouldn’t tell you? I don’t know what state you are in, but in Ohio, you can call your county board of elections, and they would give you that info.

Bad poll worker training, there. Did the signature by your name match? I assume they use the double signature books, with your photocopied sig from your voter registration to compare the sig you do at voting time. Did those match?

You don’t understand this board at all, do you? I am looking to help you figure out what happened, but it seems as though you did not get all the info about the situation you could have (or at least, have not shared it here).

I recall you bringing this up in another thread, where I asked more into it, but you did not seem to care enough about it at the time to continue the discussion.

You say you talked to the police and what they had to say, but you never said what the board of elections (where I would have started before involving the police) said.

You did contact your county board of elections, right?

Like I said upthread, I was disenfranchised by clerical error once, shit happens.

The old “If rolls were reversed…and that proves this board is biased!” spiel again?

This is a very good thing, because when the investigation turns up no evidence of millions of fraudulent votes, President Trump will admit publicly that he was wrong and apologize to all of us for disseminating false information.

Bill me for your monitors and keyboards.
