I think the only possible connection might be if she gets sweaty and doesn’t wash her face (particularly if this is done before going to sleep). That might cause problems, but it’s not unique to masturbation. But doing it won’t give you acne, nor will it make you go blind or grow hair on your palms or whatever.
By the way, studies ALSO indicate there’s no link between chocolate consumption and acne - which might make your female friend even happier.

In most cases, acnes clears up by itself a few years after puberty. Tell your cough hack friend that it’s ok, and part of normal sexual development.

Yes many teenagers have acne and many teenagers masturbate, and both often begin in the throes of puberty. However, because they often happen together doesn’t mean one causes the other.
