How do you see them f-ing up your life? I mean, there’s a definite risk of disappointment, but that’s the chance you take no matter how you meet someone; can hardly blame the site for that.

My fault entirely. Haven’t done this before. I had a date last night, two tomorrow (back to back), one Sunday, and two next week. I do believe I have overdone it.

Nah, that’s fine. Date around. It’s good practice. I met my wife after a sequence of a number of dates using Match for the first time (and, like you, more dates than I was typically used to, including 4-in-a-row back-to-back, day-to-day.) It’s fun, but I understand that it doesn’t work for everyone.

I’m signed up for a few myself and I used to think the same thing. But really, doing it that way is probably optimum. Get yourself out there and enjoy it.
Six dates? Even when I was on match, that would have been a pretty full year for me.

I was. Met someone fantastic last fall (on match.com, in fact), dated through the end of the year, now I’m trying to figure out if I’ve been dumped.
I’ll probably try the site again, if necessary. I still don’t expect six dates in two weeks.

Sure. For various reasons (most being I’m a busy nerd) I’m on a hiatus of dating right now but I typically would make two per week, one mid-week and one weekend. Sometimes this would be Friday and Saturday. I could get laid at will if I was a shitty dude; however I’ve become something of a sapiosexual.
