I am just sucking at this with a 2 out of ten.
It is a little hard to see the details of some of the flags.
3/10 then 7/10. But the second time doesn’t really count as I got France, England and Germany twice each, then Turkey.
After all, however worthy, say, Bosnia Hertegovina is as a country, how many people really recognise their flag? And what’s with all the blue, white and red in different configuration flags?

Me. I got 10/10, from a selection that included B-H, the three Baltic Republics and Luxembourg which probably catches some people out, so I’m feeling pretty smart. 'Scuse the nitpick btw, but England isn’t in the test, the UK is (if we don’t know the difference, what chance have the foreigners got?)
OK, everton, you’re right on both counts. I was going to say ‘uk’ but when typing france and germany, england just kind of slipped out.
Some others that are hard to tell apart are Slovakia/Slovenia, Andorra/Moldova and Latvia/Austria.
They need to shuffle the cards a bit better too, the same ones keep coming back.
9/10 and 10/10. Iceland/Norway tripped me up on the one test. I lucked out not having to deal with Slovakia/Slovenia/Serbia.
Belgium threw me off; I was thinking eastern europe, more southerly.
Yugoslavia is exactly like Croatia. I swear.
Slovenia is exactly like Yugoslavia. I swear.
Slovakia is very similiar to Bosnia.
I got 7-10 the second time. I should have done better, considering I’m a big geography buff. At least I was able to pick out the style of the flag and decide which part of Europe it should have gone in.
Yugoslavia (really Serbia & Montenegro these days), Croatia, Slovenia and Slovakia are all horizontal stripes of red white and blue, but are not exactly alike. The order of the stripes is different and Yugoslavia’s doesn’t have a coat of arms in the middle.
None of them are at all like Bosnia.
I keep getting those damn former russion sods.
I got 5 out of 10. But the sad part is on the wall directly behind my computer, I have that exact same map, with the flags displayed on the sides. Yeah, I feel dumb.

10/10 - Wasn’t sure about the Kazakhstanian and the Moldovian flags, but I guessed correctly :).
I got 1/10 (the UK) from a reasonably OK selection;
I thought the Belgian flag was that of Germany
I thought the Norwegian flag was that of Denmark
I thought the Italian flag was that of Spain
I think I may be an idiot
I was having so much fun I played three times: 10/10, 10/10, and 9/10. On the last one I said the Bulgarian flag was Hungarian. Oops.
3/10 on my first try (two of them were Spain, which I actually did know, and the third was Slovenia, which I got wrong the first time and right the second).
4/10 on my second. Still not very impressive.
A mere 6/10. It’s time DT takes a remedial geography course!
