After seeing another recent interview with him, I think the problem is that he has had chin removal surgery, which causes is neck to turn directly into his mouth with no appreciable jawline. He went to the plastic surgeon and said, “make me look like Beaker.” 
You may be one of the exceptions but I do think I’m speaking for most of us.
Courtney Cox is naturally thin but now she looks drawn and overly tightened, like her face is a new shoe that hasn’t been broken in just yet. Pinchy across the toes, um, I mean cheekbones.
Matthew Perry looks good to me. He’s weight cycled some, which is always most apparent in his face, but he’s leveled off since he’s maintained his sobriety. Here he is in another candid from 3 years ago, when he was promoting his last show. Jowly, slightly funky eyes, that’s just how he looks these days.
Now, can we talk about what a hot mess this Odd Couple remake is? With the cast they have it should be 1000 times better than it is but the writing is staler than last week’s cruller. It’s such a shame.

Wasn’t he addicted to hydrocodone or something? As far as I am aware opiates do not cause any kind of damage to the human body aside from constipation.
Now alcoholism or stimulants, yea those make people look like shit!
I don’t think any guy over the age of 30 should try to pull off the scruffy beard look. It doesn’t work for Matthew Perry. It just makes him look older and unkempt.
For that matter, I don’t care for the appearance of under 30s with the 5 day scruffy look either. But at least the younger crowd probably isn’t going to be mistaken for a guy who’s been sleeping under a bridge for a few days.
Unless a guy is transitioning to a proper beard. They should shave. Damit. And get off my lawn!
