Max Headroom DVD's on the way?

Oh, yeah…

Definitely one of my favourite bits of eye-candy at the time… until I read an interview in TV Guide (I think). She said, ‘People hate be because I’m beautiful.’ Turned me right off. I don’t care how pretty she was on the outside. That statement gave me a look at the inside, and I didn’t care for it.

This is good news. Now where the hell’s Get A Life?

Speaking of Matt Frewer, I wish they would issue “Doctor, Doctor” again. Good comedy series.

Just got my DVDs from Amazon and I have to say I am HUGELY disappointed that the extras do not include the original British film.:frowning:

I’m going to love watching the series, of course, but I really, really, really wanted the original. It was superior in every way to the US version, and would have made the collection truly complete.

I missed the thread before. This is pretty awesome, and I’m looking forward to watching it again. (Now, if they’ll just release Brimstone…)

Are you serious? No 20 Minutes Into The Future?

That + no blu-ray = no purchase

I thought my ex-gf and I were the only people who ever watched that show.

I got a favorite quote from it, too, although no1 ever gets it.

Bonus points if you can describe the setup to the line that I quote!

“That I’m pear-shaped?”

My DVDs arrived today.

I got my DVD’s a few days ago; a few vacation days are giving me a chance to check them out. Still good; definitely no need for a “reboot.”

By the way–Blank Reg was played by W Morgan Sheppard, whose long career includes playing a member of the Vulcan Science Academy in the latest Trek film. And his son has followed in his footsteps.

I received mine on Wednesday and have watched 4 episodes so far (I skipped the skateboarders one). Enjoying them very much, although I’m amused by how large and clunky all the computer equipment and videocams are. Some of the keyboards look like the old-fashioned ones in “Brazil.”

I hadn’t realized until yesterday that I have been confusing Amanda Pays with Amanda Donohoe.

In one episode, there’s a wild-eyed blond terrorist who went around blowing up empty buildings and occasionally journalists. It’s Robert O’Reilly, who would one day become chancellor of the Klingon Empire.
