But those people probably voted in the Republican Primary. The Liberals in Oregon are on the hippy radical side, rather than the Union/minority/Democratic Machine base that is Hillary’s strong suit.

Now that Sanders has chosen to identify as a Democrat for the purposes of possibly winning the party’s nomination, he has chosen to lambaste them in a way he never did when he wasn’t an actual member of the party. Peculiar, yes, but there you have it.
