You do know, (or, more likely, you don’t have a clue), that the name “Caucasian” was assigned to a vaguely defined group based on an erroneous asumption regarding their place of origin, right? So all your capitlaized “CAUCASIAN” references simply indicate that that your “science” is eighty years, or so, out of date and based on errors, making most of your rant nothing more than a silly exercise in ignorance.
At any rate, I and my white skin have lived in a poorer black neighborhood in Detroit, all by myself with no police to guard me, walking out to the bus stop when my car was disabled or walking to the local shops for food, and my neighbors appear to have forgotten to cut me up (or even hassle me). I suspect that if you have ever been hassled, it was based on your bad attitude rather than your skin color. (More likely, of course, you have never even met a person whose ancestors came from Africa and you have absorbed all your hatred and ignorance by visiting some of the sillier web sites on the internet.)
So I do not know where you get this storehouse of hatred and ignorance, (and this is your third or fourth thread attacking Ted Koppel without providing any information why we should accept your bizarre attacks upon him), but you are certainly providing a bit of unintended entertainment without persuading anyone that you are anything but a badly wired loser.
It’s a good act. I particularly like the Koppel bit. But you’ve laid it on a little too thick. You’ve also sucked up a little too hard in your “nice” threads.
Again, I don’t think he’s a troll. I think he’s a person suffering from paranoid delusions who is quite sincere in his beliefs. I don’t understand people who are trying to argue with him. He needs medical help, and I hope he gets it.

But I agree that the Knoxville murders would have gotten a lot more attention had the races been reversed. Partly it’s the “man bites dog” aspect of the story. Crimes by blacks against whites are a lot more common than the reverse. And yeah, partly it’s because the liberal media doesn’t like to promote the stereotype that blacks are criminals.
Really? I hear this a lot, but I have the hardest time picturing the “Liberal Media” all having a round table, deciding to bury black-on-white crime stories.

Well, Michael Medved supposedly agrees with the OP that the Hilton feeding frenzy is being used to distract the people from the real issues of the day (whatever those might be, Medved isn’t too clear on that point), so I think we can now safely say that the OP rates at least two Medved’s on the looney scale. (Medved, if you’ll remember is the movie reviewer who thinks that Hollywood is out to destroy Christianity. Oddly, Medved doesn’t use movies like The Santa Clause to bolster his arguments.)
There is no “the media.” There is a collection of autonomous newsrooms (newspaper, TV, radio, online) across the country, that have little-to-no communication with each other regarding what stories to run or how big to play them. I don’t think any reasonable person would suggest that there is a media cabal of any persuasion which does things like this.
However, in my experience, which is admittedly not terribly broad, newsrooms are overwhelmingly filled with liberal-minded people. Overwhelmingly. To the point where one becomes surprised when someone states a conservative point of view on an issue. Really. It is, of course, debatable to what extent this influences the selection, presentation and reporting of stories, but it (IMO, again) definitely does exist. To pretend that there is no disparity in the number of liberals and conservatives in newsrooms is just as absurd as to pretend there is a “liberal media cabal.”
It’s a corporate media. If it bleeds it leads. Politics don’t enter into it. Television networks serve at the pleasure of their sponsors and their corporate owners. A lot of journalists tend to be liberal but a.) that’s because they also tend to be educated and infomed and b.) it doesn’t matter because they aren’t the ones who decide what will be reported on and how.
