The OP was about a dinner party. I think you can safely assume it’s not for 50 people.
Who would BCC a private invite like that, anyway? I wouldn’t invite anyone to an event that was unsafe to have the email address of someone else I’d invited.

For five people, I wouldn’t. But if I were having a larger gathering, I’d BCC everyone just to avoid the huge header, even if it were perfectly safe to give everyone access to everyone else’s email.
That’s fair enough. But a gathering that large would be fine for a Facebook group anyway, IMO.
