I’m not up on my Roman history with regards to Christianity, pre-Constantine. But are you advocating, if not genocide, at the very least institutionalized persecution of a religious group based on your anecdotal experience with one jerk?

I find it very interesting you missed the fact that the OP mentioned that they themselves are a Christian.
