If you click on the title of the thread, it takes you to the first page. If there is more than one page, you have the option of going to the first page, second, etc. If you are at the topic page, then why would you click page 1 when clicking the title gets you there also?
I just noticed this. Not complaining, just curious.
It is called redundancy. Starting with Windows, it is now ingrained in most applications. The concept also gravitated to web sites design. A well-designed site should have several ways to link to the main or index page, as opposed to making you use the back button on your browser several times. It ensures that one does’t get lost while navigating the site, and also, for merchant sites, help the surfer make more purchases in the time alloted. Poor design makes the surfer lose time and quit in disgust, making the company lose money. A factor of Internet sites going bankrupt is poor design of thosee web site.
Hey mod, will you edit the thread for me for the errors? Thank you.
