McCain Cancels Larry King Interview because Campbell Brown spanked his buttboy

From here and here and here.

Apologies if this is already posted but obviously I can’t search as we’re still unpacking.

See the Brown v. Bounds segment here.

Brown had the nerve to say that the McCain camp was sending mixed signals by touting Obama’s “inexperience” while Palin was no more experienced, to which Bounds said “Nah ah she is too experienced!” to which Brown said “Cite?” and Bounds said “No! I don’t have too!” and Brown called him “Baby” (which seems to be a bone of contention) and Bounds took his marbles (very tiny ones, incidentally) and went home. McCain went around to Campbell’s dad’s house to say “your kid beat up on mine” and when that got no results he cancelled his Larry King appearance. (Actually the big fight was over Tucker’s claim that as Commander in Chief of the Alaska National Guard Palin has military experience; Campbell asked him to name an example of when she’d mobilized the AK Nat’l. Guard and Bounds responded by going on about Obama’s lack of executive experience.)
Okay, FRIDAY McCain chooses Palin. There’s a weekend of various scandals and non-scandals and issues and non-issues about her since outside of Alaska most folks had never heard of her, and to date she has given one in depth interview, and now McCain won’t go on Larry King because a reporter was “testy” with one of his spokesmen over her lack of experience (even while blasting Obama’s lack of experience)…

I think McCain really and truly has taken it upon himself to personally crown Obama. Either that or he’s banking on long dead deserters from American wars to fulfill their oaths by coming back to life and voting for him as “The Heir of Lincoln” on Election Day.

The man has flat-out gone crazy. I have a suspicion he’s going to accept the nomination by dropping his pants and singing “Ol’ Black Joe”.

No, he’s just gotten used to hiding behind his POW-shield, and thinks it should be automatically extended to anyone associated with him.
That’s a little delusional, but not flat out crazy.

I saw this piece last night. I now have a total girl-crush on Campbell Brown. She was awesome.

Bounds was even more pathetic than that, actually. Campbell asked him for a single example of any decision Palin had made regarding the AKNG. He said something about how the NG was deployed and how they were equipped, but Campbell pointed out that she was not involved in those decisions.

Campbell also later updated viewers by mentioning that in fact Palin did deploy the NG to fight wildfires and they did an excellent job.

That Tucker Bounds kid has funny mouth movement. Like he’s trying so hard to suppress his gay lisp.

And Campbell Brown is sexy hot as ever.

Bounds will probably be one of those guys who comes out in a few years, and writes a book about it, and dishes about the inner workings of the GOP smear machine, and then gets smeared for it by the GOP smear machine, ala David Brock.

If not, then I suspect that Ms. Palin is being coached on her cover story for why she is declining the nomination to “be with her children during these difficult times” or the more generic “Family Issues”.

Why else would McCain pass up an interview where he can be the young-looking guy?

And the last Larry King/John McCain interview went well.

Good for McCain. He’s calling out biased journalists, newspapers and news programs and it’s about damned time somebody did!

O. M. Fucking. G. Did you really just say that?

What’s biased about asking the qualifications of a candidate who has no more impressive a resume than the opponent he’s been calling inexperienced?

What’s biased about asking the qualifications of a candidate who has no more impressive a resume than the opponent he’s been calling inexperienced?

ADDED:
She didn’t get into the personal life business at all to my knowledge, at least not in the part I saw, or even into the Alaskan Independence Party (of which her husband was a member and whose founder not only hated America passionately but was murdered while buying plastic explosives) or the pastor of Palin’s church (who would also be fair game imo if Wright was) but stayed on the area of experience. Considering that Palin was virtually unknown in the contiguous U.S. until Friday and experience to lead has been a M-A-J-O-R issue this campaign, how in hell does asking questions about it, even pointed questions, make a journalist biased?

And keep in mind that

1- McCain’s interview wasn’t with Brown, it was with Larry “Nerf Ball” King

2- Unlike Fox with colmes, CNN really does try for fair and balanced: Lou Dobbs, Glenn Beck, numerous panelists

3- How thin-skinned can a presidential candidate be?

Asking about the qualifications of someone who might have to take over as President of the United States is showing “bias?”

I think you’ve been whooshed.
And wow, but that was impressive. He refused to answer that question for ages!

That one instance does not media coverage make. McCain has been getting the short end of the stick from the media ever since Obama’s nomination became official. Coverage of Obama in the main has been glowing, positive and supportive. Coverage of McCain in the main has been antagonistic, skeptical and accusatory.

(IMO, of course.)

ETA: To his credit, even Obama has been critical of much of the media’s coverage of Palin.

Oh, yeah.

And that McCain spokesman is an complete weasel.

Well if that’s true, this oughta help the world’s most popular news source like him better. And CNN most certainly didn’t shy away from devoting endless hours of coverage to Jeremiah Wright or Michelle O.'s “For the first time I am proud [etc]” comment or other Obama negatives.

Strangely cute though. I’d do him. Actually I’d rather practice safe sex and just watch Tucker Carlson do him; wouldn’t be the first time either has screamed out ‘Tucker’ during sex I wouldn’t imagine, and I definitely share Dio’s pinged log cabin gaydar on the guy.

Maybe, but I’m not too sure. Then again it could have been a bird or Superman.

Who? Who is McCain calling out? Just Campbell Brown? And then you backpedal with:

During the Democratic convention, Mitt Romney was interviewed on CBS, Rudy Giuliani was on NPR, Mike Huckabee was on the Colbert Report, and John McCain was on the Tonight Show.

Let me know if you seen any prominent Democrats in the media this week, and then tell me how biased they are.
