In ten years, few will remember this chick. But think back ten years to Monica Lewinsky. She didn’t seek the limelight, but to the day she dies, she’ll be the woman who sucked Clinton’s dick. Not that Ken Starr and his minions cared at all about protecting her good name.
Your maverick was not a maverick.
Your plumber was not a plumber.
Your victim was not a victim.
Your hockey mom burned through $150 grand in two months on clothes.
But the reason I’m not voting for you is because your policies are a proven economic disaster.
Re: the unknown black man. Susan Smith much? (on downers, but still…)
Well, it is a bit reminiscent of Karl Rove calling in the authorities because he found that listening device in his office.
The one that didn’t have enough power to transmit outside of his office.
I hadn’t thought of that. That’s hilarious! I just Pitted her and I’m glad I used her name.
Perhaps someone might tell her it would be a good idea to change her name and move to another state.
That’s absurd. If it were true, it doesn’t tell me anything about Obama other than that some of his supporters are assholes. Well, duh. And it being false doesn’t tell me anything about McCain, other than that some of his supporters are assholes. Well, duh.
This allegedly happened at a random ATM, not at a campaign event. I judge the candidates by their reactions (or lack thereof) to what people do AT THEIR RALLIES. This woman’s actions are completely unrelated to the campaign, and don’t reflect on it.
I doubt it would have had much effect if true, but who knows? I certainly don’t see why it should hurt McCain, except to add an especially good blow to the electorate’s outrage fatigue, thus making the next ineffective distraction even less effective.

No real harm, but it does add to the air of desperation surrounding the McCain campaign.
I hope she’s fired and promptly hired by the Bachmann campaign, where she can claim she was assaulted by an avuncular white-haired gentleman with a funny name.

Naaah…that’s going to be completely gone in 6 months, I bet.
It’ll be an interesting 6 months for her, then…

She’ll be insulated from the tongue-wagging and scorn over there at the booby hatch.

Yeah, that was my thought too.
I was initially focused on the second paragraph, because i was surprised to hear a Fox News VP say that a hoax would kill McCain’s campaign.
But the first paragraph is just retarded. Anyone who felt that this incident (had it proved to be true, and not a fabrication) told them anything about Obama or whether to vote for him would be a complete idiot. Unfortunately, there’s no shortage of those among the voting population.

Nor, it appears, among the part of the population that runs FOX News.
Well, that’s some sorry shit she did there, you bet.
Thanks to those who (correctly, as it turned out) identified her shiner as a fake.
McCain should repudiate her.

I don’t think that it’ll have lasting effects. But it’ll chew up media cycles during a time when McCain has precious few days left to get his message out and could have had the stage to himself while Obama was in Hawaii.
McCain doesn’t have a message.
McCain doesn’t have a message.
In fact, Ashley Todd was on-message for the McCain campaign: Obama is a dark stranger who will terrorize you and take your money.

McCain should repudiate her.
Nah, turns out it was all just a joke.
Where’s your sense uf humor, man?
