Now I don’t get that reaction when I eat their breakfast food only when I eat fries, nuggets, or Quarter Pounder.
This year?! Do you somehow think the food is going to change for the better next year?
My question is: do you get the same reaction from eating at any McDonalds, or do you tend to frequent the same one? Because the answer could just be that that particular restaurant has poor food hygiene standards that affected you more severely than other people.
I don’t mind having that feeling if I’m home but yesterday I was at work and luckily I was able to keep it under control until I arrived home.
So when I eat McDonald’s again I will make sure it’s for dinner not lunch unless it’s Saturday or Sunday
Doesn’t matter what McDonald’s I get the same feeling a hour later
Wait. When you say you try not to do this at work, you mean poop? And when you say you have to run to the bathroom, are we talking diarrhea? Or just that you have to defecate?
Whichever, “trying to make it go away” because you’re at work is not a good option. The toilets are there for a reason. Use them.
However, for example, KFC now sometimes causes me gastric distress, and talking to a manager there, they have changed their policy as to how long they can use the grease and how long the food can sit out under the warming lights. This saves quite a bit of $$. So, yes, no * horrific, Lovecraftian evil* but many small cheap cost cutting which hurt the consumer.
This might sound weird, but when a certain food gives me the shit, I stop eating it period. It’s something you might try.
No its not diarrhea because If it was I wouldn’t be able to wait until I arrived home. But pooping at work is uncomfortable and I rather just eat the right stuff to avoid that from happening.
I don’t mind it sending me to the bathroom If home. I just prefer not to have that feeling when I am at work.
So what is it that you can eat at work that results in no bowel movement?
As long I don’t drink a soda with something cheesy then I normally have no issues. That’s why I was surprised yesterday after eating McDonald’s because I had a mountain dew but nothing with cheese.
Like today I had a Pastelitto with a ice tea and no issues.
Here’s a little anecdote that might be relevant.
Years ago I worked at a place in Seattle that had a McDonald’s across the street. I noticed that if I ate there I’d get sick. Not awfully sick, not like food poisoning with vomiting and diarrhea and all that. Just indigestion; a painful sour stomach.
I found out over time that it was related only to eating their ground beef. Chicken, fish, fries, salads, anything that didn’t have beef was no problem. Their breakfast food was fine if I avoided the sausage. The funny thing is that the beef at any other McDonald’s restaurant didn’t bother me, just that one.
My point is that it might not be McDonald’s food itself that’s to blame. Maybe something at a particular restaurant. Or at that particular time. It can be difficult to determine.
If it’s regular poop and not diarrhea, then maybe McD’s serves a similar function for you as coffee does for other people. You need to poop.
True and I programmed my body to do it in the morning before I leave for work and when I get home.
McDonald’s hacked your code!!!
