My family just completed a 3000 mile road- trip through Washington, Oregon, and California. Any time it was raining and Little Lou needed to eat (she’s 7 months) we’d hit the nearest Golden Arches. This probably amounted to 8- 10 visits to different Rotten Ronnie’s in these three states, with no problems whatsoever. Several times we’d stop in without even ordering anything. They’re OK by us.
PS- If you’re considering a 3000 mile road trip with a 7 month old- reconsider! :smack:
Of course she’s sure. She read it on a message board and the person who posted it is like reliable.
When come back bring cite.

FTR, Earlier today I sent an e-mail to McDonalds Corporate asking if they have a policy regarding nursing mothers. I have not received a reply yet.
Hey! Doesn’t everyone know by now that there is nothing on this earth that is not related to Married…with Children?
They did this story ten years ago. Business Sucks, Parts I and II. It was great. Al threw a customer out for (discreetly) breastfeeding. Then some angry women, led by (childless) Marcy, had a Nurse-in, filling the shoe store, to Al’s disgust. He ended up driving them out by enlisting the fatter members of his men’s organization, NO MA’AM, to whip off their shirts and dance, driving the horrified ladies screaming out the door, babes in arms.
So, if you’re trying a nurse in, and a bunch of big guys march in wearing identical T-shirts and carrying a boombox, shut your eyes and keep 'em shut.
OK, OK. I think this was one prudish manager. I would think a nationwide policy like this would have been found out and protested by now. Why not try calling your local La Leche League? I’m sure they keep–current–with all the laws affecting their cause.
LOL at the MWC reference!
This posted on the bfing support board by the original poster calling for the nurse in
So, basically, this is a FOAFOAF story and they’re saying the cite is irrelevant. Riiiight.
What does NIP stand for?
Or am I going to regret asking that?
I’m guessing NIP stands for Nursing In Public…
although I’m sure there are quiet a few pubescent McD’s managers who are fine with nipples, too
FB
Minnesota has a state law that its ok to breastfeed in public:

You’d want to target something like this more locally - a nurse in happens every Saturday at the McDonald’s Playland around here.
I live in Alabama. I’ve heard nothing about this. I’ve searched every major newspaper in Alabama and found nothing about nursing or breastfeeding in the last 14 days except classes and support groups.
Not that Alabama isn’t backwards… but breastfeeding has always been pretty common around here. I’ve never seen anyone be uptight about it.
All apologies to the other board, but I don’t believe this.
I wrote to McDonalds. This is the reply I received:
