Now, you see, the great thing about being an NFL fan in addition to being a CFL fan is that CFL fans only have to wait until June 28 for the season to start. Between CFL and NFL, I get to watch football from late June until the following February. Hooray!
Not only that, you sometimes get to see the Rough Riders play the Rough Riders. That’s entertainment, baby.
Naw, the Rough Riders folded a few years back. Now, all we have is the Roughriders.
(Ottawa had the two-word Rough Riders; Saskatchewan remains with the one-word Roughriders. Don’t worry, we were confused too.)
Ahh football. Yes I really cannot wait for the season to start. My handle is actually partially because of my love of the Dallas Cowboys. Back in I think it was 2001 when the XFL had its one year stint I was thinking how awesome it would be to have football year round. NFL in the fall and winter, XFL in the spring, and NFL Europa in the summer. Alas it was not to be
