I heard that Corzine pushed the legalization of medical marijuana before he left office. A couple of questions for anyone who lives out there and knows:

Has it been implemented yet, where stores have been set up similar to the ones out in California, or is it still being litigated?

a general question for any state that permits this. Do you have to be a resident of the state, or do you just need to have a doctor in the state that permits medical marijuana and will write you a script? Assume you live near the border of NJ in NY, and your doctor happens to be across the state line in NJ. Can you benefit, or is it limited to state residents?
