I’m pretty sure Molly Ringwald shows up tonight. Odd…I thought she’d retired from acting or something. Anyway, I hope to hear from my fellow Mediumites later.
Freaky effects…That black, white and gray guy leaning in to kiss Molly while she’s in bed, and her character is blind. Interesting touch.
Did anyone else watch?
We did. Good episode. Allison’s dreams keep getting weirder and weirder. Looking forward to The Angel Of Death next week, too.
This is a good show, but there is one thing about it that is spoiling it for me. Every goddam week the DA and Scanlon forget who she is! “We can’t put the cops there! We have no evidence! Whaddaya mean, you ‘saw’ it happen?!? Are you high?” Sweet roller skating Jeebus, you hired her because she’s a freaking psychic!!!      :wally
Having that crap happen week after week after weak is a little too much.
Oh, and I can’t stand Bridget, either.
Othere than that, yeah great show!
What’s wrong with Bridget (other than that she really needs help with her hair)?
I found this ep to be one of the more creepy ones, imagining someone there that you can’t sense, watching you… shiver
Oh, and I was thrown off by the distortion of that guy’s voice at the parole hearing. It sounded diabolical to me – and then it ended up meaning that he was just lying.
She’s annoying, and not easy on the eyes.
I’m more convinced than ever that they’re working their way towards an “Allison gets outed” episode. Now we have a blind woman who received a call from Allison in which Allison knew: exactly where she was; which direction she was facing; how she was dressed; that she was holding a cup of hot coffee; and that an intruder was sitting on the couch behind her. If anyone starts asking questions, it’s going to be obvious something funny’s going on.
I’ve wondered if she is a medium, a psychic, a telepath or all three. The first stories involved a dead person telling her what happened. She also seems to have visions the source of which we do not know. Sometimes she senses other people, like the medium killer. That character would have been a good continuing antagonist, as would the dead Doctor who caused physicians to kill folks.
Anyone think she and Scanlan will have an affair?
Not only do the writers use the “they don’t believe her at work” theme, but they overuse the disbelieving husband.
Most of the folks on that show including Allison and her family really need to wash their hair.
I thought that was an extremely creepy scene in the dream when the blind woman was in the kitchen. Even though I knew he was going to be there it still freaked me out.
I wasn’t sure if that was Molly or not.
“Throw the hot coffee over your right shoulder! Now!”
Afterwards she didn’t think that was the least bit strange, even if it did maybe, save her life?
And I don’t think it did save her life. I think it put her life in more danger. How about you just send the cops in, without making blind girl fight for her life after throwing hot coffee on psycho-guy?
Thank you. This is pretty much it. I can’t stand her attitude, and the chipmunk cheeks bug me.
And yes, I do get  at the husband’s doubting her, although not as much as the DA.
What was that spooky music they played during the dream sequences? Seems like I’ve heard it somewhere before.
I liked this episode, it was nice and creepy. However, I couldn’t help thinking, couldn’t Molly sense this guy in her apartment? Or hear him? I think I could have.
I like the little girl who plays Bridgette. I wonder why they don’t put the phone on Allison’s side of the bed so that she doesn’t have to reach over Joe at 3 am, every night.
Does the DA have Alzheimer’s? Maybe that’s why he’s surprised each week by Allison’s abilities. :smack:
I like Maria Lark as Bridget too. Yes, her hair is messy, but she cracks me up.
Allison and Joe must be the most sleep-deprived couple in the world by now.
This is one of the few shows i’ve seen where the familial relationships seem genuine, instead of playing to the extremes of being idyllic or of being struggling.
The kids act real, the parents banter, gripe, and snipe in realistic fashion. That makes the show much more interesting for me. Hats off to the writers!
Plus, I’m an aerospace engineer like the main guy, and my wife has a sleep-disorder which keeps us both up at weird hours, so we find a lot to laugh together with in this show
