A pair of adorable, 12 year old, blonde, blue-eyed folk singers. Too bad about the rabid racism.

Chilling. Absolutely chilling.

Nah, chilling is this quote from, their interview:
On the other hand, this is almost “cute” in an utterly clueless sort of way:
They’ve hit puberty; shouldn’t they be giving up these careers and making money so they can produce some better white people?
I looked at some of their lyrics available on their website. Some of the ‘tamer’ stuff:
Well, gracious, that’s something everybody can enjoy.
They played a bit of one of their songs on CBC radio that we’re listening to here, and it was hypnotic and lilting, kind of like a nursery rhyme. These people seriously scare me.
Hey Feather, CBC Calgary?
I refues to even provide them a hit on their pathetic little hit-counter, so I’m not going to delve too deep into them, but I just had to say…
This is chilling shit! Like, cold to the core, “They still make you?!” kind of shock and awe…
Sam
Maybe I’m just a disbelieving wonk, but that “interview” was triggering my BS-o-meter. Those responses of theirs sounded entirely too… um… I guess “mature” would be the word, for girls that young.
From the interview: “Part of our heritage is Prussian German. Also our eyes are blue, and Prussian Blue is just a really pretty color. There is also the discussion of the lack of “Prussian Blue” coloring (Zyklon B residue) in the so-called gas chambers in the concentration camps. We think it might make people question some of the inaccuracies of the “Holocaust” myth.”
That does NOT sound like a twelve-year-old girl. That sounds the way a mid-30s man would speak. I submit that these girls are, effectively, manufactured for the white power movement.
And yes, it’s still a chilling article. Blatant racism like that saddens and sickens me. As my friend Denis would say, “This is why we can’t have nice things.”
I love you, you love me,
We hate all the Jews we see…
I agree with Lightnin’. These girls are phonier than Jessica Simpson. Which only makes them scarier, because it highlights how canny the white power movement is getting with marketing itself as something other than totally evil and immoral.
Prussian Blue made rounds among the Internet equivalent of trainwreck-spotters a while back. There exists Prussian Blue anti-fan blog. While it’s a trifle… obsessive… it provides a-plenty of fascinating background information.
I’m speechless, so I’m just going to offer a Prussian blue  .
From the blog Kantaloopi linked:
So it’s not “We want to kill you”, it’s “Get off my playground because you’re yucky!”.
These girls are scary.
E.
You have to keep in mind, these girls are still at the age where their political stances are still largely influenced, if not dictated, by older relatives and teachers. After they’ve gone through the teenage “learn to think and act for yourself” years, if they’re still the same - I’ll pit them then.
The mother, on the other hand…
I agree. Assuming for the moment that these girls are what they appear to be, and not merely manufactured as tool to spread this crap to young people, then the blame belongs squarely on the parent(s). There’s no way in Hell, these girls at twelve years old could be enjoying this much succcess without the complete support of their parents. They’re the ones who ought to be pitted here, IMO.
There was a documentary shown on Finnish TV last December, I think, that dealt with the White Power movement in the United States. The interviewer was a young British man, but I can’t for the life of me remember his name, nor does the TV channel’s website offer any information as to his identity. In any case, he interviewed Lynx and Lamb and their mother in one segment of the show. The girls were 10 or 11 at the time of the documentary. I was stunned. I didn’t think this kind of person still existed, that someone would willingly isolate their children from the real world and fill their heads with crackpot ideas that wouldn’t stand to any closer inspection. I remember thinking “Well, surely no-one would be so crazy as to actually record any songs by these two girls? Even in America?” Obviously, I was wrong.
Oh holy crap.
Those kids live my town…my sister used to work on their ranch…I have changed a flat tire for their mother.
I think I’m going to throw-up.
Holy shit! That’s fucked up. Those little girls are being abused, in my opinion-they’re being turned into creatures of hate and violence.
However, one thing nags me-they’re supposed to be 12. They don’t look 12 to me, and what self-respecting 12-year-old watches fucking BARNEY? And doesn’t Barney have racial diversity on his show?
(Oh, and their names are “Lamb” and “Lynx”? Yuck!)
Let me clarify; I’m pitting these girls, but I’m also pitting the people that produced these girls. I agree with you, Miller - any way you look at it, there are some scary-assed people involved here.
(Rebekkah, it was whatever CBC AM radio broadcasts in Calgary.)
The shit doesn’t fall far from the ass…
Their grandfather lives in the middle of a pig sty. He raises hogs and lets them run free. The filth of his place cannot even be described. He also drives a pick-up with a crossed hammer insignia on the doors…on a white background…in a red circle. It looks amazingly like a swastika. Just a nasty bitter old man.
I find it ironic that those who shout the loudest for racial purity are generally some of the foulest examples of the “race.”
Well, on a personal level I’m a bit skeeved by the whole parents using their kids to promote their own disturbing racist philosophy thing.
Musically, I’m mildly amused. Voices like angels my ass. They sound like Luann from King of the Hill. Their harmony is craptacular. They need a lot more work on their instrumental abilities. Maybe you have to be a racist to enjoy it.
