That’s a different Peppermint Road. Mine is a 1998 mare, Her Jockey Club registration is 9834481 and her tattoo is G0139446. I’d love to know more about her race record.

Wish I could trace my pedigree back five generations!
Lovely cat in a lovely setting.
Do us a favor though, and don’t give Jack a candlestick to jump over.
He sounds like a great cat!
He’s got a very loud motor. Even the vet remarked on it as he was trying to listen to Jack’s heart and lungs. He’s about 4 months old now.

Oh, I love cats with a hearty purr. They are like a person with a hearty laugh.
Can I come live with you?
What a cute little guy!
I’m sure the roof was an aesthetic choice, but it doesn’t work. If the roof looks like that through necessity, I’m sorry to have brought it up.
The roof is what it is. Not an aesthetic choice. If you look at post #14, you’ll see that redoing the roof is in my plans. I’m just not sure if it’s in my budget. I’m thinking of replacing it altogether. if I do, it’ll last the rest of my life.Click here and look at color swatches. I’m trying to decide what color, or to stick with plain brushed aluminum. Charcoal Grey or Fern Green might look good, though.
Corcaigh - You’d have to haul your own wood for the wood stove. ![]()

Aww, kitty is a cutie and house is lovely. Congratulations on your new family member!
I wish I lived in an area that pretty.
Beautiful pictures. I’ll be right over to visit…
Picturesque, I guess. It’s picturesque right now when the dogs have a possum treed in the persimmon tree. Poor little guy probably just wanted to glean some sweet(ish) fruit and now is stuck until dark. The good thing is waiting under the tree for the possum has made my doberman Jake happy. Jake’s dying of bone cancer, so it’s nice for him to be happily lying in the sun watching a possum.

Go with a light color on the roof. White or gray. It will keep the house cooler in summer but won’t keep it colder in winter.
May Jake add more of these wonderful days to his short life.
This is what I came to say. I’ll bring my two horses and my cat, Baja. We’ll all be very quiet and try not to take up too much space, except maybe in the front yard and on the porch on a sunny day.

One of my sister’s friends said I should open up a bed and breakfast. Of course, that means I’d have to cook. Horrors!

All the four-footed family members, including the dog, are cute! Have fun with the kitten! ![]()
Everything is so very charming. Like a late 19th century dream.
I’m sure its a lot of work - old house and horses and dogs and cats (do you have chickens?, the place looks like it needs chickens to meet the idyllic vision). Work is thing that shakes me out of that dream and keeps me in the 'burbs.
Dangerosa - Well, my office is 32 miles from home, but it only takes about 40 minutes to drive. I’ve been thinking of chickens, but I don’t eat eggs (unless cleverly hidden in brownies) and I could never kill one for dinner, so what’s the point?

That is not a real house. You live in a painting or something! Too sweet to be real!
Jack is a beautiful cat - I think he might grow up to look like my Animal.
