I was very pleasantly surprised at how great this movie was. I’m always fascinated by good characterization and dialogue, and this flick was a pleasure to watch.
It’s based on the original stage play “Phyro Giants,” which I believe had a moderately successful run in New York a few years ago. The DVD also featured some footage from one of the performances, and it seemed even funnier as a stage play.
Does anybody know where I can find a copy of the original script? I’d like to look it over to see if it’s something that can be staged in Phoenix.
Thanks!
I caught it at the Hawaii International Film Festival. I can’t remember who was with it and answering questions though. I really enjoyed myself though along with the whole crowd. I was fortunate to go into it completely void of any idea of what the movie might be about other then this guy named Melvin went to dinner. You have to do that with this movie.
No idea where you could find a script but with a movie as small as this you might as well just go ahead and e-mail Michael Blieden.
Wait, you want the script to Phyro-Giants the play, not the movie, right?
Correct. Can someone help me find this script?
