I just watched Pittsburgh, a comedy about the events that led to Jeff Goldblum appearing in a Pittsburgh production of The Music Man. It is not at all clear exactly how much of it is “true,” although the entire cast list reads “himself/herself,” and the musical was, apparently, actually staged.
This just randomly presented itself to me at Netflix – I hadn’t heard a single thing about it. (It’s rated “NR,” so I’m not at all clear whether it appeared in theaters or not.) It’s pretty entertaining, esp. if you’re a fan of movie musicals, but I’m left with a couple of questions – like, is the young woman who’s in the film as Jeff Goldblum’s girlfriend actually his girlfriend? And, was Ileana Douglas really dating Moby?
