Thought long and hard about it, but given the fact that the information I have received here has saved me much more than the 14.95 for the subscription, I decided to re-up, despite idiots like Otto who takes even the most innocent questions as an attack on his/her way of life.
You won’t see me posting here all that much, just wanted to support the site and what it stands for.
Thanks to those of you who have helped me with any questions I may have had, and those of you, who even though you may disagree, can at least keep a civil tongue in your head.
Good job Quasi! Glad to see you sticking around. And this is a nice corallary to those who’ve got to let us know (for several pages, amongst much rending of garments) that they’re going. Thanks for helping to continue to make this a great place.
Maybe we can ban Otto. Who knows how many posters have not taken the high road, as **Quasiodem **here has? That fucking **Otto **might be a sinkhole of disgruntled members, for all we know.
I think Quasimodem and Otto should have a cage match for their right to a membership: Two men enter, one man leaves. Only the victor shall have the exclusive right to be made fun of incessantly on the SDMB…

Quasi, that is an interesting bomb you dropped in the Op. Any chance of elaborating and linking to the offenses you have taken? Otto usually remains civil from what I have seen.

I know you really, really love to argue, but do you have to put your two cents in every thread just to pick fights with people? Dearie, as many people continually point out to me in Pit threads, this is the Pit. Even so, I didn’t call names or use ‘fuckwit’. I just asked a question. Like other posters in this thread, I fail to see the reason for the announcement.
