Under your your shirt?
No, but i am a neanderthal, do i still count?
I try not to wear any clothes i dont have to
Because my antiperspirant it’s 100% effective and I don’t want sweat stains on my shirts
My dad always did. He said it was cooler in the summer. I never thought so.
I do. No, it isn’t exactly cooler in the summer, but it does a better job soaking up sweat than just a regular shirt.
Usually. At work, I don’t like the uniform against my skin. I also wear suspenders -detest belts- and don’t tuck my shirt in. Dressing to leave the house, I hang my cheaters on the Vee neck under my shirt. When I wear my looser fit jeans, my suspenders go on over my tee and under my shirt, unless I need to tuck. I usually prefer polo shirts with those pants though.
Always at work. In winter otherwise. I have a very large collection of geeky shirts. One that rivals Sheldon’s, in fact. Right this minute I’m wearing a Captain Hammer shirt.
Yes, always. I feel weird without one.
Yes. Especially with a dress shirt it feels far more comfortable.
I tried for awhile, but it didn’t take. Too many layers and too warm.
Yep, with dress shirts or casual dress shirts like oxford cloth type shirts. Weirdly it does keep me cooler, eliminates any issues with yellowing stains from sweat and honestly I think it also helps them stay unwrinkled.
I only wear t-shirts. The only dress shirt I ever wear (without a t-shirt) is once a year, when I’m wearing my tux.
Yes, I would get big sweat stains otherwise (antiperspirant notwithstanding).
Every day of the year without exception.
From age 17 to 37, I didn’t. Ever since then, yes. I realized that I could wear shirts several days if the sweat and/or antiperspirant gunk went elsewhere.
These days I’m especially fond of “technical” undershirts from Uniqlo. Heattech long-sleeve ones to keep me toasty warm in winter, and AIRism mesh ones to keep me cool and dry when traveling in the tropics. Glidan “tall” T-shirts that stay tucked in (I’m long-waisted) for spring and fall. All other T-shirts were recently purged from the closet.
nope. too hot, especially in summer. In winter, prefer to wear a sweater over a shirt, so I can take the sweater off when it gets hot.
So what’s the one day? Anniversary supper out with your husband? Special exhibition at a gallery? July 4th gala?
I don’t think I’ve *not *worn an undershirt since I was 12. I would feel naked without one. Even if I wear a t-shirt (sports team, Captain America, etc.), I have an undershirt under it.
Although, as I type this, I’m wearing an old “I’m with her” Hillary shirt with no undershirt under it. I guess going to bed is the exception to the rule.
Only in winter.
Almost always; I just grew up doing it and have never changed. For under sweatshirts and sweaters I find it a must. Although unlike Happy I’ve never worn a shirt under a t-shirt.
