Mensa Questionnaire

Sorry, folks, for not including a SPOILER SPACE up there. Ginger, you could always do it in French :smiley:

Completing Mensa questionnaires in French is not something I do well. Besides which, it would not work properly. The initials wouldn’t work.
I do many other things well in French. Like, bleed :(. And, um. What was the point of this post?

How do you bleed in French? “Le glug, le bleed, le rougeness!”?

:confused:

<snicker> ::guffaw::

Bwahahaha!:D:p:D

Quick history: the puzzle in question is NOT a Mensa test. It came from Games Magazine, back in the early 80s. It quickly became popular, and people were making Xerox copies and handing them out all over the place.

Will Shortz, who’s now editor of the NY Times crossword puzzle, was editor of Games at the time. He says that for years, people were constantly mailing that puzzle to Games and saying, “You should publish this one,” not realizing that Games HAD published it a long time ago!

Oh my god! this is the ONLY one my friends and I never solved years ago. I think one of them still has the paper - a while ago he took it out at a party, but we were too drunk to even TRY to solve the last question!

I just emailed them…They’re gonna be either amazed at me, or pissed that I got it off a messageboard! LOL
