I just saw this during a break in the Green Bay game.
I laughed. Probably because there are a lot of spiders up here.

As an arachnophile I thought it was awesome.
Within one second I thought: “those people look British”.
Then I saw that it’s an ad commissioned (apparently) in London, filmed (apparently) in the Philippines for a company (apparently) in Brazil. And shown in the States. WTF?
I wonder what kind of spider that is (aside from being animated)? It looks slightly smaller than the GHSs that come out in Autumn up here.
A spider like that could hold its own against the Geico Gecko.
Looks like a regular British house spider to me. They usually only get to about 2" across.
That’s the same species as the local GHSs.
This seems to be on par with all Mentos commercials. The older ones were one step away from old Kung Fu dubs.
But Yeah, I liked it. I felt going into it, that the apartment would be trashed at the end, didn’t see THAT coming though.

Commercials here lately seem to be light years better than a few years ago. Gives me hope for the [del]commercial[/del] Super Bowl.
