If you join, I urge you to do a search for some of David’s earlier posts. You might gain some insight into him that you wouldn’t otherwise gain.
Which give me an idea. Here are David’s most recent posts before he ran into his current medical problems.
I’m not sure this first link will work for you or not if you are not a member, but it is the results page for a search of all David’s posts. Below are links to all the comments he made that showed up on the first page of the search. Unfortunately, it appears posts before 2007 have been archived and are not available through the search function. Who was this early female aviator?
Ok, that wasn’t such a great start. The first search got 750 posts and covered less than the entire year of 2007. The second search covered pretty much the entire year of 2002, with no ressults in either for 2003-2006.
So I’m gonna try this again with a seach for threads rather than posts. A single thread result might encompass several posts from David, and give you better context in which to read them, but at the same tim his comments may be harder to find within the threads.
Ok, we’re doing better in another forum. An newest/oldest search in Great Debates results in overlapping thread dates, do these two searches should cover all David’s posts in that forum since December of 2001, which seems to be as far backas the therads have been kept.
I’m hoping someone can pop in here and tell me if I’m wasting my time. These search links pop up the results for me when I try them after posting, but I’m not sure if they work for others, or especially for guests.
The links worked for me, although I just figured out the first link in post 241 and both links in 242 don’t work. Do these links expire like searches do?
If they don’t work for guests, maybe some kind Doper(s) could volunteer to weed through these. I’m sorry I don’t have the time to do this anytime soon.

I have been enjoying reading some of David’s old posts that Boyo Jim has put up. Some of the links I cant get because I guess, I’m a guest. I see that Jim has tried to provide links and even started a thread about it for Tim. I cant even click on Davids name to get a post link.
Could somebody maybe post links to some of the threads David took part in? I see that he has 12,000 something posts. The forum I take part in I have 6,000+ and have been doing int since 2004 so I know he must have a lot.
If someone could post thread links instead of search links I think that would help.
