Michael Cera=Comedy GOLD

Brian Wilson recorded Pet Sounds at age 24. That is genius. Hell, even creating Pet Sounds at all is genius, let alone at a young age.

Michael Cera? Uhm. As much as I like the guy, that’s much too big of a word to describe him by.

Apples and oranges. That’s like saying Brian Wilson’s not a genius because he didn’t paint the Sistine Chapel.

But whatever, I’m content with merely calling him “extremely talented.”

That’s fine by me. I always felt like there should be some mid-level word for the semi-geniuses of the world. For old people who has worked long and hard for their recognition, there is always “maestro”.

I probably would’ve agreed with the OP at the time it was posted but since then I’ve realized that Michael Cera is not a good actor. He just happened to be perfect for the part of George Michael. The boy has no range whatsoever. And Superbad was Supermediocre.
