I think the problem that a lot of us are having is that we’ve already seen that character. We saw her play it in Swat, Girlfight, The Fast and The Furious, and Resident Evil. I haven’t seen any of the other bombs she has been in but I have a pretty good guess what character she plays!
Michelle Rodriguez is more one-dimensional than Tom Greene could ever hope to be. The girl has one character and it’s an annoying one.
I have to agree she is an EXTREMELY annoying character and I just want to give her a smack whenever she even looks at the screne (and I want Sawyer to haul off and wack that bitch a good one). But…I felt the same about Sawyer and Jin a time or two. I’m willing to give her (and the writers) some time.
For myself, I’m more annoyed at this 3 week break (is that normal? My wife says it is, but wtf? Why can’t they fucking have a show a week for at least the whole season??? Obviously its been a while since I watched regular TV…), than I am with getting answers now NOW NOW! I’m still into the show enough that I guess I don’t see the suckyness. Maybe some of you watch to much TV and have become jaded.

I figured I’d be alone in my loathing for the character.
But, honestly, while she’s really annoying, I don’t much like any of the characters except Hurley, Sun, and Jin. At this point, I’m watching because my husband is still interested.

Baseball is part of it. I don’t know why they’re taking three weeks off, though. I guess they’re waiting for sweeps week to bring in some new episodes. I agree, it’s annoying.
