Aw, Cranky, I didn’t mean to cause you [sub]too much[/sub] trauma over it. It’s just ice cream. Cold, smooth, creamy, luscious, chocolate ice cream, with big chunks o’ chocolate swimmin’ in it. And the raspberry - even creamier, with more chocolate chunks… this is just par for the course here at MSU… We have this stuff all the time!!
And Paul, yup, it’s some of Sparty’s best. Straight from Farm Lane. Except I only sent them 2 half-gallons of the stuff. I think there are laws about sending the good stuff too close to Ann Arbor. Cranky, if you put a little bit of chocolate ice cream between 2 chocolate chip cookies, you’ll see God when you take a bite.

Hey guys… made it home again safe and all (after dropping off Kathryn). I would be remiss I didn’t thank Xploder and his wife for their kind hospitality. And of course, all the dopers present were (and still are) lovely people–but then that goes without saying.

Man, what a bummer, I’m so bummed I missed it! I was planning on coming, but the 'rents wouldn’t allow it. They’re outta town as we speak, and yesterday, they saw the directions printed up, saying Dopefest on it. Well, they decided that this was akin to Hash Bash, and so forbade me from going, no matter how much I tried convincing them. It was all over the phone, too, that didn’t help.
It sounds like you guys had a blast though, wish I was there!

I’m home, safe and alive.
I had a great time! I’ll second that emotion about thinksnow having missed his true calling in life. Also, George is my friend, but the cops don’t need to know that.
Oh, and Persephone? The check’s in the mail. 
I’m home safely. Had one hell of a time actually getting in to my house–my brand new key, just made this afternoon (because I lost my other one) would NOT work. Good Goddess.
I had an utterly MARVELOUS time last night and today. I haven’t had that much fun in a very long time. (((((HUGS)))) to everyone who made it here today–you folks are a truly remarkable bunch. You rock. You positively rock.
And a HUGE hats off to Xploder and Mrs. Xploder, for allowing us in to their home today. Can’t thank you enough, my friends. You are wonderful.

Sorry I didn’t check in last night. I ended up driving home because my husband had tied it on a little more than I did. Of course, as usual, I ended up getting us lost. I was fine until we got to Port Huron, then I took a wrong turn and started heading east instead of south. It only took me about a mile before I realized I was going the wrong way and I was able to correct it and eventually found my way home. By the time I got home though, I was practically falling asleep at the wheel, so I ended up walking in the house and going straight to my bed instead of checking in on the computer first.
Anyhoo, I was really glad to see all of you again. I would have drank more, but I just knew that I would be the one to end up driving home, so I took it easy. But I’ve never really needed alcohol to have a good time anyway. Let me tell you, the rest of you Dopers missed one hell of a good time. We have to do this again soon.
I missed think’s chewing on the beer cans??? (well, at least I saw his glow-in-the-dark-slug)

Okay, I just managed to completely delete the post I was almost going to post. I suck.
Anyhoo, just wanted to let everyone know that I had a faboo time yesterday. I apologize profusely if I spilled anything on anyone. I seemed to be having a hard time keeping my, um, beverage in my glass. It must’ve been think’s back rub…yeah…that’s the ticket. That’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it.
So did the Tent of Love™ get any action last night? Inquiring minds want to know. You know, if I wasn’t married…nah, we won’t go there! 
Getting ready to take El Strainger to the airport - my jihad to conquer Detroit Int’l has begun.
Hope everyone got home safely and without incident. Looking very much forward to seeing everyone again at the next one. I say we do a DopeFest at a campground. That’d be way fun. We’d have to get room service and air conditioning for Juniper, but maybe we can make arrangements!
Strainger is insisting that since he made the trip up HERE, we all have to make the trip down THERE.

It really was a great time last night. And I can’t wait for Xploder to get those Witty One Liners up. Man, this is one funny bunch!
Well, another Dopefest come and gone. I’d like to once again offer my thanks to Xploder and the Mrs. for a great time, for the comfy couch and all the food (and good god, was there a lot of food!) I’m sure I’ll remember other events later, but I wanted to post a few smiling memories tonight.
The piano bar, Friday night, was a great time, lotsa fun, even if it was a den of Michiganders! <grumbleUofMindeedgrumble>
Getting started Saturday, which is to say, after being woken up by the dogs attempting to climb Mt. Snow, but getting started, loading the coolers, witnessing the creation of “George,” seeing Persephone make 3-dozen deviled eggs and Beth load up her weight in shimp while I did not much more than move some chairs, well, getting the drinking under way was a good thing.
